This page is to honor and tribute to Lorie.
Lorie (Danzeisen) Bremer, died April 12.
She had a wonderful smile and an energy that flowed to people all around her it was a great smile, a bit catchy. You would find yourself smiling for no aparent reason, but the fact was there was a reason, energy and conversation. I first met Lorie through our TES classes we both took when we joined the Hennepin technical College Family.
We also worked on a few team projects with students while we both were at the Eden Prairie Campus. The concept was bringing real experiences to students and helping them see the possibilities. Then through a twist of fate, I was approached to take over the BPC SkillsUSA advisor position and was told to talk to the EPC SkillsUSA advisor. It was Lorie, we talked about this great organization called SkillsUSA and how she was able to see students grow and become leaders. She encouraged me to commit to becoming the Campus Advisor for the North campus, BPC, she was already the Campus Advisor for the South, EPC campus. I signed on and she was right it is a great experience! I thank you Lorie for all you've done and everyone you have touched with your energy and life. You will live forever in our hearts and lives.
